Inspirational Playlist

on

I was feeling a bit inspired this morning and thought I’d revisit a song we posted on the Studio back in November 2014 (A Mountain of Hope)

That’s when I realized it was on a playlist of a whole bunch of the same music. (32 songs in total)

This includes and updated version of “Illusion of Alone”. (Also a free download)

Below are the comments from A Mountain of Hope (Which is also now downloadable. Just look at the top right of each song for the down arrow by the soundcloud logo.  If you see an arrow there, it’s downloadable.)

Here’s the playlist.

I hope it finds you well.
Adam
PS Not to turn this into a sales pitch (which is not my intention) but I know some of you will want to know where to find the rest of this music.  It’s simply on the Inner Eden Store.
PPS It’s no coincidence that I’m revisiting old music.  I’m working on a new album.  Watch your inbox. 🙂

Here are some of the comments from the original post from the Studio.

  1. Diane

Indeed! :-) and aptly named and oh, you have NO idea and Thank you Adam……a new favorite. GOD you’re brilliant.

    • Adam King

      All smiles Diane. :)

  2. malkarose

Thank you Adam. I love this composition. Cellular uplift!

    • Adam King

You’re welcome Malkarose and what a cool choice of words. “Cellular Uplift”.
      Wow…nicely done.

  3. terri

First, I felt I was on a merry-go-round and then, I was racing myself up the mountain and then, I was just floating on the Sea–I was victorious at whatever it was I was doing—it was a beautiful race—thanks and, I did love the drums—

so we have much to look forward to with the music club—we will partake of more of your musical abilities—

    • Adam King

Very cool Terri. And yes, this one was created based on the survey and the mood I’ve been in.
The two top requests are atmospheric and environmental. But the uplifting drums and orchestra kept coming up and over.
      So here we are.
And the name…..I have idea. Just came to me when the time was right.
      Glad you enjoyed it!

  4. Kathy Perry

    Wonderful Adam!

    • Adam King

Thank you Kathy. Must be good for you to be making a comment. :)

  5. Christina C

Clear, powerful, a full adventure of the soul, fearless, decisive, hopeful, yes, hopeful, hopefulness that has become reality and as always, beautiful in its full scope! No way to look back, no way to turn back, no way to stay with the old same BS, no way to be banal or ordinary. Love it, Adam.

    • Adam King

Thank you Chris. Not quite trance, but was intended to be everything you just mentioned.
      Cool stuff…

  6. Wendy

Another buoyant journey on the Adam Express. Brilliant. Beautiful. Uplifting. Thank you!

    • Adam King

      LOL yes….all aboard!

  7. Bill

Wow! What a wonderful, crazy compilation of so many different moods and textures. It felt like I was in one of your atmospherics that had some badass Zombie Stompin thing going on. Just a lighter version of it.

I could see part of the piece, like it was the sequel to Earthbound Emerge. Man you were all over the map with this thing and every bit of it worked. It all flowed together seamlessly. How many different yous from the Dreamhouse went into putting this one together?

    • Adam King

      Thank you Bill.
And to answer your questions….several. :)

Now I have to go back an listen to Emerge again!

  8. StretchDog

    Good stuff Adam.

Easy to listen to, yet full of energy.

And yes, I enjoyed the drums very much… ?

    • Adam King

      Thanks Stretch.
This song is really getting some attention. Maybe you guys were right about the drums. :)

  9. Teresa

Gosh maybe I shouldn’t have listened at night lol. Now I have to get up and do something!

Someday I hope to hear you live on the drums…you really know to layer the rhythms so well. Thanks Adam. As usual, you rocked me right up the mountain…

    • Adam King

Thanks T. Make no mistake about it, the drumming part is what I do the worst in real life.
I can play every instrument under the sun. But sit me behind a drum kit and it all falls apart.
However, put me behind a keyboard….that’s a different story. :)

Hopefully we have an actual physical retreat one day. I would love to perform all weekend for you guys.

      That…would be awesome.

      • Teresa

OMG that would be awesome! And as they say…piano is a percussion instrument…I think you know more than you let on about…

        • Adam King

Could be. Either way, we’ll see what the future brings. I ain’t stoppin’ the new stuff anytime soon. :)

  10. Teddy

Terri said felt like “racing up a mountain”,
Well, it’s been a very long time that I “raced” anywhere, but this one made me feel as if I could, Adam – I love it —- once again! Large drums and heavy orchestra – YEAH!!!!!!!

    • Adam King

You’re so welcome Teddy. Jen wanted to call it Highlands. I don’t think she was far off!
      Or I wasn’t…one or the other. :)

  11. Teddy

Yes, I can see that – I’ve been there – so beautiful –

  12. deonne

Yep – I agree with Bill. This feels like it comes right before ‘Welcome Home’ in the Earthbound series, and could be called ‘Landing’. What a lovely gift – thank you. If it was looped I can imagine coming into a time warp where I’m jet-propelled through the mundane.

    • Adam King

Time warp? Yes Deonne, that’s quite possible too. :)

  13. Amie

yes yes yes! I want more like this! This one should be the sound track in a movie. Mountain of Hope is a good Movie name, don’t you think? I haven’t even seen the movie trailer, and I feel inspired.

Awesome to brighten up the house, and uplift my spirits and be motivated.
I want to play it over and over while I go about the day. Can’t figure out how to play it on repeat?!

    • Adam King

      Your’e very welcome Amie.
And yes, more like this are on their way.
      Lots more in fact!

  14. Sataly

I’ve been referring to Adam as the spiritual teacher of the future (off line to family). He is a teacher that teaches us to be our own leader – to explore, experiment, experience and enjoy (the 4 Es?). I’ve also used the word discover, but it doesn’t start with E :-). I’ve never felt as if I’ve been misled by Adam.

I found myself questioning why anyone would want to clip a bird’s wings because they are so beautiful in flight. Then I thought about how I tried to clip the wings of the grandson I reared. I’m glad I changed my mind. He is so beautiful in his flight through life as himself. I’m glad I stopped trying to domesticate him.

I could use a song about spreading my wings and flying. Either like the bird whose wings are no longer clipped and s/he doesn’t realize it, or the butterfly who’s wings are strong enough from the struggle of emerging from its chrysalis and the sun has dried its wings. The next right action is to fly.

    • Adam King

      That was just beautiful Sataly.
      And very wise.
      Thank you.
