(From Original Post)

A Beautiful morning came to me after reading an article about how scientist discovered, that when we listen to music while waking up, it can help us to become more centered and focused. Also, that if we listen to music while eating breakfast, we tend to eat slower which, can aid in digestion, as well as help us to be more fulfilled (emotionally) with the meal itself.

Plus, I know that it’s just a beautiful way to wake up, instead of listening to the news, checking our emails, or listening to cars drive by as people rush themselves off to work.

Enjoy,
Adam

I find myself walking barefoot with my slacks rolled up on a deserted white sandy beach – dabbling my toes in the edge of the surf – and standing – admiring the gentle swaying of the tree-lined beach – swaying in the gentle breeze – i is so peaceful here. From the time I was a little girl, my Dad took the familyt o the shore at first when I was very small, for a day – I remember sleeping on a blanket on the sand – later – after “The War” – we would go for 3 weeks, still to Ocean city (NJ), and now, stay in an apartment not far from the beach – . My Dad would play tennis in the morning, and we would go to the beach in the afternoon -“we” included My Mom and Dad, and his mother and sister – My grandmother (Nana) and Aaunt Mer). As his business improved and grew, we graduated to going for the month of August in a 2nd floor apartment – and it stayed that way for the rest of his life. 1982 was the last year – He passed away in March of 1983, the last of that family. My daughter and her family still go to the beach – now – in N. Carolina, where Chris and his family grew up, and his remaining family live. I have never been to that beach. Perhaps there will still be time, if I eventually am successful in freeing myself, with my dear daughter’s help, from this financial mess I am in, It is resolving, but slowly. The music has taken me there again – actually, to “The Purple Pussycat” – the first apartment we lived in in August, when I was 12.

So delicate and beautiful… like the dancing ballerina that immediately appeared in my mind as I listened. The golden rays of sun filter through a window casting a warm summery glow upon a honey colored wood floor. Graceful arms making gentle flowing movements above a crisply fluttering tutu above tiptoes wrapped in satin and ribbons. Not a hurried thought can enter or a distraction take hold. So lovely a piece. What a beautiful, peaceful few moments. Simple innocence. Thank you so kindly. I’ve played it over and over and still the image remains. My heart is filled with such a sweet feeling. This delightful song has banished a frightful nightmare far from me. I am so thankful that its beauty fills the dark night as wonderfully as the fresh dawning of a new day.
