The Witch’s Kitchen

Well, I made a bit of a compromise on this one. Based on your votes from The Dragon Simulation, the Witch’s Kitchen came in first place, then the Haunted Forest in second. So, here’s a little bit of both.
The audio starts out in the forest as you walk through some pretty eerie stuff, then wind up at the Witch’s house deep in the woods. Once inside, you’ll hear her cooking up some interesting things while her cat (you can name him/her for yourself), frolics about.
Also, I have a fondness for witches and didn’t want to create the stereotypical “old ghastly lady”, so I made this one quite nice. You’ll see, er, I mean, hear.
I believe we can do at least one more if you so desire, so if you want to vote below, please do.
Here’s the options.
- A woodland swamp with creatures
- An old haunted house during a storm

I definitely liked this audio track of The Dark Forest to the Witches Kitchen. The Witch sounds like a younger more modern witch and it really wasn’t creepy…just kind of laid back.

Indeed Linda. I originally had one all nasty, chanting, etc. This one is much truer to the version I choose to have in my head. 😉

Yes, do an other one but I am not sure which one. This was on the edge of scary as is. I was happy to remember, while listening, that I was safe in my house. Beautifully done.

I think it would be more fun if we didn’t have a clue with a title and then we guessed for ourselves what was going on in these audio simulations!

This is great. I like the sounds of the little squeaky creatures and could imagine them as kitchen helpers to the humming witch. Storms and haunted houses Yes!.

Absolutely delightful!! So much wildlife and oh how I loved all the character in that kitty 🙂 The depth and richness of all the sounds gave this a warmth that was a wonderful surprise….not to mention the building fire that gave a wonderful glow to the kitchen. So much fun. This is a wonderful way to invite people to sample your work. I’ve introduced a few folks already! I’m so glad you are having so much fun creating these too 🙂

Thank you Angela. Especially for sharing. This, as unique and different from my “normal” work, is still fun. I just wanted to remember this Halloween season, so this is what came out. The “house during a storm”, is quite a bit more scary. We’ll be back to the pretty stuff for the next holiday season!

Adam, this was creepy. I watch a lot of paranormal shows…residual energy quality. You can’t see anything, just hear.Short enough to walk towards it and it disappears.
